Congratulations to Steph Tierney and Josh Barrell who both got great GCSE results today. They are both going to Colchester Sixth Form College to carry on with their musical studies in September. Both Steph and Josh started out in The Colchester Training Band and have now progressed to being keen and dedicated members of The Senior Band.

Lizzy Tuckwell, who has completed the first three years of her medical studies, starts work as Medical Student in hospital next Tuesday. Lizzy was a dedicated member of the band before she left Colchester for London to start her course a few years ago and she still comes back to band when she can to enjoy rehearsals and concerts.

Good luck to Steph, Josh and Lizzy with the next chapter of your studies.

The Colchester Training Band is taking part once again in the Bandstand Marathon 2010.

They will be playing from 2pm - 4pm on the bandstand at the Community Centre in Kesgrave.
