Become a Patron of The Colchester Band
How does it work?
As a Patron of the Band you will pay a yearly subscription of £10 (joint subscriptions are available at £20 per year) which will entitle you to one free ticket (2 tickets for joint subscriptions) to the Patrons concert. You will also receive 3 newsletters throughout the year in March, June & October and your renewal letter in December. Your name will also be listed on our website so the band can acknowledge your support (this is optional and you will be able to opt out of this during the application process).
When is the Patrons Concert?
The Patrons Concert will take place in November every year. We will advise you in plenty of time when and where the concert will take place and each Patron will receive one free ticket for the concert. This concert will also be open to the general public, however, the concert is primarily a chance for the band to acknowledge your support as a Patron.
Any subscriptions received after the annual concert has taken place will come into effect from 1st January the following year.

Why are Patrons important to the band?
The Patrons will be a group of people who receive regular updates on the band’s activities as well as receiving information on forthcoming concerts. The Band will know that they have a regular group of people to perform to in Colchester and the surrounding area. The money raised through the Patrons scheme will be a lifeline for the band and will go towards the day to day running costs incurred, for example, covering the rent on the bandroom, buying new music and insuring instruments.
How do I apply to be a Patron?
Please e-mail and an application form will be sent to you. Your contact details will only be viewed by the Patrons Administrator and will never be passed to anyone outside of the Band Committee.
